XBOX One Live gold membership bought as a gift in UK to be used in Pakistan?

Hi,

I want to buy a 12 month membership for XBOX One live gold here in UK and want to send his as a gift to my nephew in Pakistan.

I tried buying it but on your site it says that the membership card will work in the same region.

Please can you tell me how to get one as a gift from UK and send it over to Pakistan?

i got a xbox live gold membership gift card and i already subscribed to xbox gold- can i use the gift card for other games or is it only for the gold membership?

Hi, purchases have to be from the same region they are to be used in. The only option I could think of, is if you have a family member in Pakistan that you could transfer funds to and they purchase the gift card for you.

 

Digital codes are region locked to the currency/region it was bought in, so that's the cause of this problem. You will have to ask for a refund within 14 days of purchasing the gift if you bought it on the xbox marketplace:

The only way for you to send a 12 month membership to your nephew in Pakistan from the UK is to send him money in Pakistan's currency (can't be done through Xbox, you will have to use a bank) and then have him buy the 12 month subscription with that money.
