Xbox one live Gold in Romania..Help needed

Xbox Live (now called Xbox Network) is the service that connects the console to online services, which includes online multiplayer. You also need a Gold subscription to play those games online. Since Romania is not supported, Gold is not available there so you wouldn't be able to play online.

Thank you so much for the quick response! I really appreciate it. That's a real bummer though since Romania is an EU country I would think it would be an easy transition. That's a real bummer. Do you possibly know if Xbox Network is going to be rolled out to Romania soon?

Sorry to hear it. I think the issue lies with the country. Romania is not an officially Live supported region. As such the card you purchased would be for a different region than you physically live in. I'm not entirely sure why or how a store in Romania
would have Live cards for sale but you would need to find out which region the code is for as Gold memberships are region locked

You would have to use an address with postal code for whatever region you set your account to. If you're trying to use it for billing purposes, the address would have to match the payment method you are trying to add. Since Romania is not supported by live,
it is not possible to use Romanian information and you will have issues with some aspects of Live.

I know but if i am from Romania an there is no Romania in locale it means i can't buy xbox live gold and games from the store ? Because that's not fair.

Probably depends a lot on local legislation and infrastructure. How much of Romania has high-speed broadband?
