xbox one live gold accounts

My son and I have both each had our own separate gold accounts for around 10 years. Both our gold accounts are now coming up for renewal. I understand that we now only need the one gold account on the xbox one but if i don't renew his gold account will he
lose anything such as the 10 year badge or his player rep etc. I realise he will no longer be able to have multiplayer on the 360 anymore.

So my question is - what have other people generally done in this situation - is it best to keep the two gold accounts going?

As long as the primary account have xbox live gold all other accounts get xbox live as well

 

Question about xbox and W-Microsoft10

They can't play on your account PC, instead you reverse it. You play on PC and get them their own account on xbox one, they can play online free because of your live account (assuming your xbox one is set to your home system).

This lets them play with you on your xbox one with their own account signed in (no xbox live gold for their account needed, just yours), while you are your pc under your account.

Easy.

 

From my understanding, you need to have both paid up to keep the time ticking over.

Blitz might be right here as the only people would know are the ones who have experienced it or Xbox staff and as the console has only been out for just under a year I don't think many people would have experience with this.
