xbox one live disconnection

HI all

Just been onto xbox support team yet again, the problem i am having is random disconnection from live, ok to cut this as short as i can, ive tried everything , removing profile, wiping hd, attatching ethernet, returning console to shop and demanding another
console and watched to make sure the same console was not given back, ok i won't bore you with anymore,... now been consulting with support and explained to the person on chat that the issue is one ive had since day of purchase, now at the end of a lengthy
chat and tests i was told to send the console in via repair, so my immediate reply was am i going to get a straight exchange whilst my console is in for repair,...Reply was yes whilst mine was in for repair i would get a replacement sent out to me, which
will take 3-4 weeks after they have recieved my console??? also after giving them details like serial number etc etc. i then got told it will be at a further cost to me of $91.67!!!! because console is now out of warranty!! So i quoted ok lets go back to the
360 and the fact that it had hardware failure which microsoft could not deny so had to honor the warranty bla bla bla....also if they check the records this isnt the first time i had brought this problem to the table, i also quoted that they should check
the forums and they will see that i am not the only person having this issue in fact its very common, Now do i go to ombudsman and complain or has anyone else had this issue and got results?, oh i forgot to mention if i have to reset my router for any reason
i have to leave the xbox one switched on for a couple of days because if i try to go into an online game COD for example i will not be able to play a full game of TDM for example without being kicked from live, so the only solution ive been told to try is
to leave the xbox on for a couple of days and it will sort itself out,???? Does this sound familiar i am sure it does! how it was left was i threatened to go to the ombudsman and the chat suddenly stopped.....again? WOW now i wander if i got kicked randomly

You don't have to disconnect from Xbox Live. Just decline the patch when it presents you with one and it will just install off the disc first.

Yes, I do experience disconnections (both from game and Xbox live) as well as extreme latency issues.

 

I would appreciate some advice or indeed a solution to this problem as its been going on for far to long and i feel like i am banging my head against a wall.

 

Not sure if this is possible but if I was you I would take my console to a friends house and try it there. If it works there and not at your house then the problem is probably your router or internet provider.
