Xbox one live constantly lagging and disconnecting despite good connection

I'm it's getting beyond a joke now I can barely complete a game online without randomly getting kicked out

I have close to 60mb download 16+upload 150 odd latency 0 packet loss etc

Yet people I know with like 1mb download etc play perfectly

Different times of the day other Xbox or pcs on or off in the house makes no difference

Fifa forza mine craft pretty much any game if I went to play with other people

Including parties





Could it be account connected? I was fine on my previous account until it got hacked but on my new one it's terrible



I've tried everything possible short of dropkicking my Xbox out the window

Hard reset the Xbox by holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds let go of the power button then restart the Xbox.

Try out your games. If that doesn't help, try the next steps.

Power cycle your network by unplugging the power to the modem & router for about 60 seconds. Then plug your router back in and try your game again.

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart?

Try out your games again.

If that doesn't work, and since using a wireless connection to your router.

On your Xbox go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Forget Wireless Network

Go to Advanced settings > DNS Settings > Manual - Set the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary as 8.8.4.4

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

After the Xbox Restarts go back and reconnect to your Wireless Network and try your game again.

If that fails, consider resetting your router back to defaults.

 

Xbox One live constantly lagging/disconnecting/terrible connection

Hi i need some help. My xbox live is constantly lagging and displaying horrible connection. Firstly, i tried many steps to fix the problem and none worked so that is why im posting. Im using a wireless connection. When i go to test connection or whatever
on the xbox one, i have 4 bars and my results come back and are all above the recommended needed to enjoy good quality xbox one, so i dont know what the issue is. However when i play games on xbox one i lag, i dont lag when in party chat, its just the games,
When i play gta online, it takes forever to connect and join a game, and im in a game for 5 minutes before it says i disconnected from it, or i lag out and i lag while in the game. When i play cod, i lag all over the map. Can someone give me tips on fixing
it?

 

Is it possible that your router can't handle this fast connection? What router do you have?

Do you run the latest Firmware for your router?

 

Yeah routers are fine everything else internet wise is fine with up to 100mb download

My brothers Xbox is fine

Mine was fine before I changed account and lately it's just been terrible

Tried switching routers tried everything I can I think of my end

 

do you run 2 xboxes on the same connection? If yes you need to disable all port Forward on your Router and also DMZ. Enable UPnP and restart your Router - restart both xboxes and you should be fine.

Be sure you run the lates Firmware for your Router.

 

As far as I'm aware we have 3 routers on the 1 main connection so each xbox has a separate line

It was all fine up until recently and the only things that have changed are switching from xbox 360 to xbox one the change of xbox live account

Will look into what you've said tho

 

To have 3 Routers doesn't mean that you have 3 lines !.

Why do you have 3 routers?
