Xbox One Limited Edition - Warranty Question

Hey all,

If I were to send my limited edition (1TB) Xbox One in for servicing and I'm sent a replacement console, will I receive a generic Xbox One or an equivalent limited edition console? Does this depend on the type of warranty (regular vs extended?) If this is
not the place for this question let me know.

Xbox one controller right analogue stick drifting up

Same issue. Started yesterday while playing Destiny. Titanfall Limited Edition controller. Past warranty I believe.

You should get an identical one, seeing as you have a different hard drive size to the normal ones. That seems like the logical scenario.

Not sure where you would get a 100% definitive answer on that, but you may want to try Microsoft Support (text-based or phone).

The console refurbished to its original specifications by Microsoft comes with a 90-Day Limited Warranty. See Limited Warranty inside or at Xbox One Warranty and Service for details:

Stefraki, you are correct... if I was still under the limited warranty (which I might be) I could get a free replacement, but as I didn't purchase an extended warranty through Best Buy, I would have to go with the MS, and that would be more problems than
it is worth... In respect to my original question, I dusted off my Day One Edition Xbox One controller, and sure enough, it worked fine for the most part. I then tested the alt controller, and my "newer" Xbox One controller is definitely shot.

Warranties
are a good idea, but I doubt they are going to cover Excessive Sadira Usage Syndrome.

its cheaper to buy the 250gig xbox s or the gears of war 3 limited edition xbox s 320gig as they come with the hd and warranty covers the HD too

vs buying it seperately you are only covered by the 90day accessory warranty

and its about 30-50dollar difference between buying the 250gig xbox s hd seperately and puting it into the xbox s 4gig vs buying it with the console

the 320 gears of war 3 limited edition if you can find it is abit more

The controller on that PvZ looks like it has cheap decals stuck on it. Are you sure this is even a legit MS-made limited edition Xbox?

But as for the main question, with the current deals & bundles you may as well get something brand-new with the factory warranty on it. I do buy refurbished electronics from time to time, but even then I make sure it comes with a warranty there, too.

Just my opinion.
