Xbox One Light Flashing

I was playing my Xbox 360, and my Xbox One turned on for a brief moment. I ignored it at first, and thought nothing of it. My Xbox One has instant on enabled, and was on stand-by. After a little bit, the light began to flash. Dimming in and out repeatedly.

This was after 10 pm. I figured it must be an auto update feature. I went to bed, console still flashing, and woke up this morning, no change.

I thought the update must be pretty significant, so I went to start my day. I just got home, and it is still flashing after at least 21 hours. I tried turning on the control, and it came on. The control connected, as the light on it was solid. The light
on the console is still flashing, and nothing has changed.

Other threads with SIMILAR issues, not exact, have said to do a full power down by holding the button. Their stories aren't the same as mine, and I don't want to risk damage to the console.

1. What style of Xbox 360 console do you have?
2. How long has it been having the issue you're describing?
3. When did you replace the power supply? Before or after the issue started?
4. When the console is on and running, does it behave normally (aside from the 480p resolution)?
   
5. The console turns itself on and off even when no one is touching it or any controllers?
   
6. How many lights are flashing on your console?
7. Which lights are flashing on your console?
8. What color are the lights that are flashing on your console?
9. What color is the light on your power supply?
