Xbox One Light Broken?

I just got my Xbox One a month ago. The power button still seems to work, no issues at all. But when I press it, no light comes on nor does it make the usual beeping noise when booting up. It's just off as if the console isn't on. Has anyone else had this
issue? Is there a quick fix for it? Is it normal? I'm not sure, I'm new to the Xbox One and just wanted to know if I should send it for repairs or just ignore it.

The power supply should always have a light on it.

Orange light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is off

White light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is in standby (charge controllers, download updates, etc.)

White light on power supply/white light on Xbox One = Xbox One is on

No that's definitely not normal at all. Return it to the store as soon as and ask for a replacement.

 

I hope I can. I got it from GameStop and I think it's a few days past a month.

Sadly I'm in Ohio. I feel like this is gonna be a long road to get a button fixed.

 

I would get in touch with gamestop and see what they say, In the US its more likely the retailer will pass you onto the manufacturer, which can be slow, but they will sort it, if they make you pay for the return make sure you check to see if its refunded
(I should be).

I would get it fixed asap, the longer you leave it the harder it will be.
