Xbox One Lego Worlds wont load, just a black screen since system update this afternoon?

My son run a system update this afternoon and now first Lego Worlds and other games he is trying wont load, just stay on a blank screen, what should I do?

Xbox One: Lego Avengers - unable to load saved game

(Note: This is for Lego Avengers, not Lego Marvel Superheroes. Lego Avengers was not an option in the dropdown.)

I have been playing Lego Avengers on my Xbox One for 6+ months. Today, when I went to load my save game, the game was displayed normally (45% progress). However, when I clicked to load the game, it started at the beginning:

...

I Pressed A to select Load Game. My game (45% progress) was listed in Slot 1.

Pressed A to load the game.

Pressed A to confirm loading game.

Screen got to Load successful, then said that autosave will be in Slot 1. I pressed A.

Instead of starting where I normally do with this saved game (in Central Park), the game restarted: pans to the sceptre, Maximoff's holding hands...after the opening scene, it gets to gameplay (Hawkeye and Black Widow in the snow). If I quit at that point,
it just takes me to the game start screens.

I have made a system change since I played last -- added an external hard drive. However, since I have done that I have been able to successfully load saves from a different game (Fallout 4). Did adding the external hard drive cause a problem for Lego Avengers?
Is there a problem with my saved game?

Please advise.

Help!!

So i put my Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 disc in and it wont load it just stays black screen, earlier my xbox made a weird noise with the cd in it and the cd hasnt been working since. Anyone know what to do??

Hey there!

Sorry to hear that your son is unable to play Lego Worlds! Have you first
power cycled the Xbox One? If doing so didn't help, we recommend completely
uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Keep us posted of neither of those steps help! We're here to help.

Yep have been experiencing the black screen thing since the update, had it happen twice now, once exiting the Titanfall beta and just now exiting Lego Marvel. I have to do the same as Pagan and completely power off before it comes back.

My son had the same issues... Xbox will turn on, you will the green logo screen and after that you will have a black screen. I was able to fix it using this by loading the xbox one to factory default.

Hey LukowarsFR,

You start the Console, see the green loading screen which transists to a Black Screen and then stays black?

If thats the Case take a look into this guide: http://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution and select "Troubleshoot system error->Your Console->Startup
issue->Blackscreen"

and follow the steps shown there.

I play Minecraft on the Xbox One with the latest version. I was in the End Cities when I had to leave, so I saved and quit. Now, the game is stuck on the “Generating world” screen, and won’t load my world. All of my other worlds load fine, it’s just
this one that won’t. I just got my Elytra and realllly don’t want to lose this world. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

This same issue is happening to me and the green bar is fully loaded but wont load me in to the game and this same issue is on the copies of the world but no other worlds. I already did all the troubleshooting provided on this thread. Please help.
