    Xbox One left joystick not moving characters to the right


    Whenever i move the left joystick to the right it doesnt register in game. In CoD i try to move towards the right and my character either stops or stutters. same thing in every other game and in apps and menus.

    Ive had this controller for just one year and have not damaged it at all.

    i dont have the receipt for the controller so returning it isn’t an option

    I really dont want to have to buy a new controller

    Any way I could fix it?

    Okay, I tested it. If I barely move the joystick, it won't do anything, but it's such a miniscule dead-zone, it's not really worth mentioning; no game would ever need to be that sensitive. The only reason it's there in the 1st place is because the bottom
    plastic edge of the joysticks have to move down (as you push the joystick up, down, left, or right) to touch the sensor inside of the controller to activate the signal so that it knows you're moving the joystick - that's all; that would be true for ANY controller.

    same joystick here but works fine in FS 2020. Have you got the latest drivers from the Saitek website? I´m using the 64bit driver. Having troubles with other games though. ArmA 3 won´t start if the joystick is plugged in.

    I cannot map the view axis to the joysticks coolie hat though. I can map the fixed view "look left" or "look right" but the camera is not moving seemlessly to the left or right like it did with FSX.

    As onyx62is said, press your left joystick down. If you see one for the R press your right joystick down :) Happy gaming!

    Toward and away would mean to move toward or away the other character. So it just depends on which direction your character is facing.

    Left and right would mean pushing the left stick on the controller left or right.

    Some people remember the combinations, but it's not really necessary. I'm more of a button masher myself.
