    XBOX ONE LEFT ANALOGUE STICK, POOR XBOX PRODUCT. UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.


    I've seen this numerous times on the Forums and want to know the correct procedure for fixing this. The controller that came with my Xbox One Bundle has a left analogue stick problem. Whilst playing games like Fifa 15, it frequently locks up when running
    in a certain direction, when I rotate the stick it grinds and clicks. I thought it was just a broken controller so bought another one from GAME. Within five days of having this controller the same thing has happened. It is so annoying when playing competitive
    online games like Fifa 15 as I often lose the ability to correctly control a player and end up losing games because of this.

    I thought a next generation console would have next generation controllers also but it seems that Xbox 360 controllers are far superior.

    My frustrated questions are;

    Will GAME take back the controller I bought from them?

    How do I replace the original controller that came with the XBOX ONE.

    Actually now that I think about it, this makes me furious that it's a common problem. I was hoping it was either just a fluke or something that happened to people who press down extremely hard on their left analog subconsciously.

    Best I walk away, go for a run or something and clear my head. I rarely at my age (33) feel this amount of disgust towards something commerce related. This would be a deal breaker and the type of thing I emphasize to my friends when they're trying to decide
    between X1 and PS4. Alright how about that run, man I'm fired up.

    I have just had one sent in for the same problem and my a button sticking, Just got the controller back after 2 weeks without one and the a button seems better but the left stick is exactly the same.

    I also can't believe they want me to go without the controller for another 2-3 weeks because they couldn't be bothered to fix it correctly the first time, why am i not offered a swap at the door for my inconvenience?

    Poor show microsoft poor show, my whole system is off back if i can't get this sorted so who do i need to talk to?

    And I don't even play that much??

    Left analogue stick seriously needs to be re looked at.

    Here's a tutorial on Instructables on how to repair the left analogue stick failure.

    Not that I think anyone should have to repair this. It's obviously a poor choice of materials that is causing the failure. Apparently the plastic piece that is failing in the XB1 controllers, was made of metal in the 360 controllers.

    Have you tried this:

    Holding down power button on console for 15 sec.

    unplugging PSU (power supply unit) for 20 sec.

    plugging PSU DIRECTLY into a wall, (no extensions, no surge protectors, etc)

    then restarting and retrying?

    The PSU brick is a built in surge protector, by plggin into anything but direct outlet can cause other issues, like kinects not being recognized, or starting, controllers not binding, or having input issues, etc. even headsets not giving audio, or otherwise
