Xbox One left analog stick problem.

My left analog stick, has as of today, been moving my characters *in game*, to the left. This has not happened in any apps, or guide menu. The analog stick itself, appears to be centered as normal...but then all of a sudden without moving the analog stick,
any character Will suddenly move left, be it in Titanfall... pilot, or Titan..my Watchdog character, and also Dead Rising 3 characters. I don't have the security tool used to open the controller, and I've only tried cleaning the outside of the analog stick
with a Q-tip. Does anyone have a similar problem? Also, it is more than 90 days old... and I don't have the receipt. Any input is appreciated.

XBOX ONE Controller Dpad

On my XBOX ONE controller the left and right buttons on the Dpad dont always work. Some times left and right on the analog stick does it to but not very often. Any one ells having this problem.

 

Xbox 360 Left Analog Stick

I was recently using my Xbox 360, and was on the home/start screen and the left analog stick was not working. I started a game (Forza Horizon) and the left analog stick was working perfectly. What's wrong?

 

Hi sorry your having trouble with your controller. I had the same problem myself.

First, I would like you to check in the settings menu of each game that you play and look for character drift. I know Titanfall has this option but I'm not sure about Watchdogs. Turn that option off. One of these 2 solutions might correct the problem.

Second, Is your controller the original controller that came with the console? If it is it should be covered by the year warranty that MS provides. Just go to xbox.com and click on my account under your gamertag and select manage devices. From there you'll
be able to submit a repair. You'll have to send the old controller back though and when MS receives it they will send you out another controller.

 

There is a character drift setting in Titanfall, but they have no affect. I didn't register my system when I bought it

It is the original controller. I have just the one.

 

If you've checked in game settings as MaximumExtreme suggested:

Is it making a popping or clicking noise at all? Does it feel more loose than the right analog stick?

 

Negative.... no sounds... no clicking. Feels no different than

The right analog stick. Still only happens in game, with a character... never a menu.. or app.

There has to be something wrong with it. Extremely frustrating, when I can't play something I've paid so much for.

I have indeed updated the controller. Still no change.

 

I got a new controller... works just fine. The old one is just there for charging batteries. Such a damn waste.

 

I too, have just broke down and purchased a brand new control. What a bunch of B.$.

 

im on my 5th xbox one controller now the left analog stick cant handle me playing fifa or forza that's why im going to trade it in for a ps4 ive spent 250 pound on xbox one pads what a waste my mate has got ps4 and he plays fifa all the time and still on
