Xbox One launching game query

When i launch some games from my home screen, the loading screen seems to stay up a bit longer and i hear some sound from the game before the screen goes away. Is this common?

I first noticed this when launching Xbox 360 backwards compatible games.

This can be a common issue, as {Parity} has said, a power cycle should solve it.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
