Xbox one to launch in china in July.

So Xbox one will launch in China september 23rd,with two free games and Xbox live gold free until march 2015.....

(Can already hear complains....)

13 chinese devs team are working on new and most favorite IPs.

Neverwinter will be only available in China (bad news),let's hope it will be available outside China later on.

Let me guess minimal sales.

 

That's strange because they just came out last week and said the launch was delayed......

Microsoft has delayed the launch of the Xbox One in China. The console was set to release on September 23rd but is now being held back until later in the year.

"Despite strong and steady progress, we are going to need a bit more time to deliver the best experiences possible for our fans in China," said Microsoft.

"At Xbox, we pride ourselves on delivering first-rate gaming and entertainment experiences, and to allow us to deliver on that promise, we need to reschedule the launch of Xbox One."

and several other places are saying it has been launched, they did delay it until today from the 23rd but not heard the 'later in the year' delay ( until today )

 

Things change day to day it seems, hard to keep track sometimes :/

 

I'm sure it's about money.

The engineering/development side of MS probably wanted to work out the kinks but the bean counters are saying they need the sales.

 

I heard it was to do with a legal wrangle, I am guessing they sorted it or got something from the government to put their minds at rest lol.

 

They don't need sales take away Sony we wouldn't even mention they need sales.

Doing pretty well just some crap game companies don't help the xbox with there *** 720p games

Like pro evo 720p lol but fifa 15 1080p destiny 1080p shame other companies don't spend there time and do what the others have done but overall love my xbox one

 

Their launch titles are very underwhelming.....

Xbox One fans in China can choose from 10 games today, including Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Powerstar Golf, Zoo Tycoon, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Dance Central Spotlight, Neverwinter Online, Rayman Legends, Trials Fusion, and Naughty
Kitties.



Considering what they have access to on the PC (harder for the government to police) I don't see big numbers coming out of China.

 

i hope it does well, i'd like to see what the devs in that area will produce... course with all the restrictions it may not be that much.

 

^^ Yep, they aren't going to get the console selling titles that are going to justify the purchase of the console and pull them away from the MOBA's and MMO's that are keeping most of their gamers occupied.
