Xbox one latest update says last updated 01/01/1601

The
latest update give a strange date of 01/01/1601 is this a problem.

The update date may only say 01-01-1601 because it was the consoles initial update I would be a little more concerned if your console is still saying this after if has updated and is connected to the internet.

I certainly think you should be carrying out a
network test to see if this highlights anything that may be contributing to the problems you are having.

 

Teredo issue

A few other things I've noticed: On my UPnP portmap for my router, none of the ports in use, or attempting to be used correspond to my xbox, even though it is powered up, and one would assume, should be trying to access those ports - which I have opened
in the port forwarding options of the router.

Secondly, when checking the console information in the system settings, the latest update is displaying as 1/01/1601. Odd, I wasn't aware that xbox consoles existed in 1601.

 

Hi, it's probably just an issue with the time stamp. As long as your update works properly, then I wouldn't worry about it.

 

I would still recommend reporting this through the Xbox Insiders Hub following the steps here.

 

This paticular xbox isnt in the insider program so dont think i can report a problem that way

If I remember correctly, you don't have to be in the Insider Program to report a problem. All you need is to have the Xbox Insider Hub app downloaded. Once you do, the
Report a Problem option appears in the power menu that shows up when you hold down the Xbox Button on your controller.

I would suggest following the steps our Ambassador linked, try it out and let us know if you can report the problem!

You can try a simple power cycle
to fully reboot your console to see if the time stamp changes at all.

If at any time the Xbox experiences issues, a potential
soft factory reset may be needed.

Seems like a usual bug, that doesnt impact on the xbox use, probabily the next update will patch it and correct it.
