Xbox One latency

I don't think you have offended anyone mate! you've had a few rebuttals, but I certainly didn't take offence. As I say other Aus gamers on here should shed light on lag down under but here in the UK its not an issue.

 

Cheers, I'm glad I stand corrected on the issue in the UK. I guess you don't hear too many of the stories of success, only problems. I have read several issues from people in the UK but I guess they are isolated. Since this post, I have also done some more
digging into the servers that are apparently here in Australia and there are some but only for a few games at the moment. This is good news that some information is coming out now. Of all the conversations I have had with Xbox, not one person has told me they
have built servers here now. I can only assume things will get better as these servers become open to more games.

 

You hit the nail on the head there when you said you only tend to hear about the problems! Human nature all the contented people are quietly enjoying consoles.

 

The MS Data centre is active here in OZ unfortunately only 1st party are using it. This is a reason you will see me on here regularly bagging out 3rd party that wish to continue serving up Peer2peer connections which as you know is awful for us Australians
as we are so isolated. COD AW was a perfect example saying before launch it would have dedicated servers then dished up the usual. I passed even though I was a bit interested in giving the franchise another go.

I play more single player now and only invest time into games that use MS servers or atleast support Australia with their own dedicated servers. EA and BF4 even though their servers are the worst. Vote with your wallet.

 

Yep, agreed. Multiplayer here is just ridiculous. I would have thought Australia would be a big enough market to support but maybe not.
