Xbox one latency is to high 77

Why is it that my xbox one s latency is 77??? Back on the xbox 360 days my ping would be no higher than 12ms. Thats back when i have fios. Now i have Xfinity and i have had them come out a few times to check everything and they are saying everything is good
and that its Microsofts fault and Call of duty. They said Microsoft needs to fix it but i don’t know how to get it fixed it causes my game to load into a match 10-15 seconds slower than everyone else and cause me to not be able to shoot and kill some people
in the game. Very frustrating. Please some one help me get my Latency lower than 77 so everything works good.

Microsoft please help.

Hi Jorden,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Latency will always go up and down. Usually anything under 100ms is ok. This could be due to where the nearest server is located. Could be quite a distance from you. What is the NAT type on your console?
You can try rebooting your network hardware. All other stats look good.

"Certified" latency, that is, what is needed to run a game correctly via XBOX, by their own words, is supposed to be at 150 milliseconds or lower.

@taidara ok I will try this and let you know. My isp is windstream. My device is the sagemcom 4320 single device modem and router all in one. Ive run basic connectivity tests but never while having the gm running. Ill let you know the results

@TheHENCHMAN - When you measure your speed, between two endpoints (you as a client, against a well-known host machine), using your PC, by default, these tests are based on best ping.

Now, when you do a smilier test, using your Xbox One, the DL/UL speed along with IP connectivity test (ping), to measure the round trip time (RTT) of data, sent from one endpoint to another and then back again, is tested against a host located in Seattle,
WA (US).
