Xbox One Language Region Block - Please remove it!

I am very pleased with my Xbox One, but this one issue is really starting to annoy me!
Why on EARTH can't I pick whatever country I want, and pick whatever language I want?? You do realize that there are places, other then in the US/UK, where they speak English? I would like to set my destination to Norway, but then I am forced
to pick Norwegian as console language, which I do not want to! Why do you have to force me to do that? No region block on the Xbox One, let people pick what they want!

The reason this is a problem for me is:

- I want to use English as console/kinect language, but if I do, I cannot use OneGuide (for my Norwegian TV channels), which is a huge let down.

- If I pick Norway as region to setup OneGuide, I am forced to use Norwegian as console language, and as they do not support Norwegian as Kinect language, that means I cannot use the kinect. Great.

Language/Region problem

You are correct, one of the latest console updates does remove the region lock from Chinese consoles.

If you have updated your console you should be able to edit your console settings to change language and region.

One more qustion. Ok, Russian region is blocked at the moment. But why I also see in store that all purchases are blocked in Russia, even if I have changed region ob my xbox? But system language is russian.

This massage dissapears only when I change system language for example to english.

Store are banned by system language (russian) as well?

But this is twondifferent things Region and language.

Hi AntiPeacemaker there is a suggestion on xbox.usersvoice about removing the "region lock" on languages on the Xbox One.. You're not alone in wanting a change in this matter..

if you cannot set hungary up as an xbox one region then you can't redeem it on the Xbox one

As someone already posted he cannot select hungary as a language it's means it's not a Xbox one region

Xbox one languages are region independent but not Xbox 360 games and yes gears 3 is one of the few that check for language regions
