Just got D:OS 2 CD for Xbox One.

The game is in slow motion, lagging like I have never seen games lagging before.

    Anyone experiencing same problems?

    Hi ElGaToL,

Sorry you're having problems with your Xbox lagging. What speed is your home internet? Do games lag when you're not online? While you're playing games are you downloading or uploading large files? The port forwarding will likely not help your Xbox internet
connection, that is more to just get online if you're having problems. If you constantly use your home internet for things such as phone, downloading, uploading, watching movies, ect while you're playing Xbox I would suggest contacting your router manufacturer
and implementing a QoS (quality of service) solution if that's available. That will give the Xbox priority for the data going across your network.

    Hope this helps!

  7. You really should try to understand your internet connection better before you start blaming your Xbox for your lag problems. Sorry if I sound rude, but it's true.

So many people that have lag issues just hastily hunt down their connection speed because it's easy to find out that info. Then when they see that their speeds are 'more than adequate' they automatically blame their console. They don't actually do any network
tests or any research beyond that, which isn't enough.

Yes, according to your post, your connection speed is more than adequate. However, you didn't bother to post the one number that is even more important than your download/upload speed... your ping. If your ping isn't adequate, your speeds are useless.

The link below will explain how to test your network to see if it meets the minimum requirements for a good XBL experience. You'll notice that your connection needs to meet 3 basic requirements, one of which is ping... not just download/upload.

Xbox Live Connection Help | First Time Xbox One Connection | Xbox One Help

I would also suggest trying some other trouble shooting steps that have been mentioned. Someone streaming video, music, downloading or uploading large files, any other network activity (or combination of activities) can have an impact on your online gaming.

    Hi ElGaToL,

Ok thanks. That internet speed should be plenty for Xbox Live. The lag that you're saying is generally all internet related. Can you go to this menu and see what the Xbox is actually pulling, and post a screenshot here? You can access it by going to your
Network settings, and then "Detailed network statistics". If single player is working with no issues and no lag, and you join an online game 99 times out of 100 it's the internet connection. Doing that will give yourself and us a better idea of what's going
    on.

Sounds like that should absolutely be plenty for XBL. OP has ping that is actually better than the ping I get from my network tests. I have a 50/12 connection as well. Actual numbers
from a recent test show 45.8/11.5 with a ping of 87ms... and I have very, very few issues with lag.

Another thought I just had as well, could it be just one game? Since OP didn't mention any game, or any number of games in particular. It might be possible that it has to do with
a connection to a particular game's servers as opposed to the XBL servers, depending on what servers the game(s) use.
