    Xbox One Lag


    Hi All,

    I picked up an Xbox One about five months ago. I have played through Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and the Halo Collections. I have been extremely impressed with the step up in graphics from the 360, however, since I opened up the box and plugged it in I
    felt there has been something off. I am a bit embarrassed to admit it has taken me this long to diagnose, but I am realizing that the Xbox One lags. It reminds me of playing Guitar Hero on a plasma/lcd TV. It is fairly minimal, but just enough for me that
    it is hurting my gameplay. I am surprised because I have my 360 on the exact same setup (HDMI into a Mitsubishi DLP) and I have no lag. I thought it might be my controller setup so I have tried several different controllers (wireless+battery with and without
    a cord, rechargeable wireless with and without the cord) and no significant changes.

    Has anyone else experienced this? I have tried LCD and Plasma TVs and I feel the same lags. Since my 360 doesn't lag at all I would assume that the One wouldn't. Please let me know if any of you are having the same issues and if you are and have found a
    work around please let me know!

    I lag on XBOX Live, Help!

    I lag on xbox one, I don't know how to fix it but I really need some tips into stop making me lag, on PS3 I didn't lag at all but on xbox one I lag every online game including grand theft auto online and call of duty, I lag out every match too, Help me please!

    Sky hd through Xbox one via amp.

    There is lag through the HDMI in Port with any input. No fix.

    Xbox One Lag

    I have a sound lag on my lg tv but on my tv settings I can change sound delay I was 0.25ms off don't sound much but was noticeable

    I was experiencing similar lag with my X1 until the February system update. In February, a new firmware for the controllers was added that seemed to greatly reduce this lag. (Input delay)

    The controller firmware does not update automatically. You have to go into the settings and launch the update yourself. (You will have to connect any controllers you have with a cable, one by one, for it to work)

    Try this and see if the issue clears

    Edit: Here's an instruction I pulled from the web on how to do this

    To download the update, connect a controller to your Xbox One with a USB cable. Keep any headsets connected to the controller. Connect to Xbox Live. Press the
    Menu. Go to Settings > Devices & accessories and select the
    controller    . If you have multiple controllers attached, you can select Buzz – which will cause the selected controller to vibrate. Then select
    Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable, and the screen will show the Updating controller … progress screen. When you see the Controller updated screen, press ‘B’ to go back to the Devices & accessories main page.
    Reselect the controller. The Firmware version should now be: 1.2.2236.0

    Yeh cloud. I get about 50ms on Aussie servers and still get lag. I'm starting to think this has more to do with xbox live than my connection. I have bf4 on xbox one and on PC. I have no lag issues at all on PC yet on xbox one I always experience lag. Even
    on Aussie servers on both. If I experience no lag on PC then it shouldn't lag on xbox either. I get about 25 to 30ms on pc and 50 to 60ms on xbox. Shouldn't be that noticeable, but I experience huge lag on xbox for some reason. Bit strange!!

    The new WWII COD is amazing! But it has its problems ...

    I can't even finish a match it is so laggy. I dont think the lag was as bad with my xbox. the xbox one x is horrible with lag.

    After August Update consistent lag every 10 seconds or so?

    I'm having this issue on my original Xbox One (had it for about a year) ever since the forced update on Monday. It is especially bad when trying to type multiple messages in Warframe chat, and I can hear my console chugging away whenever I'm doing anything.

    The Store lags, my games lag, the Game DVR App lags, my Settings lag... Everything lags.

    If this is to do with that update, they need to fix this fast. I keep thinking my Xbox One is about to give up and die with a new form of RRoD.

    Lag issue

    After doing further research the problem with lag stems from StreamBoost.

    As stated before I own a D-Link DGL 5500 Gaming Router with Streamboost by Qualcomm Atheros.

    Streamboost is not properly seeing the Xbox One the same way it does the Xbox 360.

    Witch is causing the lag.

    I need Microsoft to contact Qualcomm Atheros to let them know there service is causing lag on the Xbox One.
