    I just moved in a month and a half ago (back from college) and It seems like when I first moved in Netflix was streaming just fine. However, It has been slow for several weeks now and this is the first time I've really tried playing an online game. The modem/gateway

    Seems strange it happens when he turns his Xbox off you would think there would be more chance getting lag when both xbox's are on !!

    When he turns his off check your nat setting on your Xbox

    That's an Arris ....they have "known issues" if wireless ....move things around and try it wired or ditch the Arris and get a plain modem and a separate router (netgear).......might also try and reset the router to defaults and see if that helps it ......

    Yeh cloud. I get about 50ms on Aussie servers and still get lag. I'm starting to think this has more to do with xbox live than my connection. I have bf4 on xbox one and on PC. I have no lag issues at all on PC yet on xbox one I always experience lag. Even
    on Aussie servers on both. If I experience no lag on PC then it shouldn't lag on xbox either. I get about 25 to 30ms on pc and 50 to 60ms on xbox. Shouldn't be that noticeable, but I experience huge lag on xbox for some reason. Bit strange!!
