Xbox One Lag Issues/Fallout 4 (?) on Xbox One

ANY help would be appreciated! I am not sure if it is my Xbox of Fallout 4 itself, so iI'll list the problems.

So i will turn on the Xbox, everything is fine, and I'll start playing the game. Sometimes, the audio in game will cut out, or lag and catch up like 10 seconds later. Then it will start lagging and/or freezing. If i try to open a menu in-game it will freeze
completely. I press the Home button on the controller and it doesn't do anything. I hold it down to turn off the console and all it does is vibrate, but I cannot turn the console off.

Other times, I will turn it on and the green loading screen remains for 15-20 minutes, and never loads.

I cannot do the offline update diagnostic because i do not have a Windows based computer...

I am so lost! I don't know if it is my Xbox lagging on everything, or if the game is messed up! I have tried loading some other downloaded games or apps, and they will not load or freeze as well.

Sometimes I will turn off the console, but the xbox symbol on the console will flash on and off for 5-10 minutes?

I also cannot use the joysticks to move around on the dashboard, as it gets frozen.

It has been doing this for about 3 weeks now, and Im not sure if an update went on or what happened to make this start...

When this happens have you tried a full power cycle of your console? That can generally help with issues like this. To do that press down on the Xbox One power button for 8-10 seconds until your Xbox One powers off. Once it's shutdown, unplug for around
30 seconds and plug it back in.

I have power cycled numerous times, and nothing happens. Often, the green screen will go away, but the lag and freezing remain.

Just today i power cycled, and it has been on the green screen for over an hour.

I cannot get in contact with support in any other way, I am booming super frustrated. Is there a phone number to call by any chance?

How full is the drive the game is installed on ? could be lack of disk cach space ? but take with a pinch of salt! as its just a wild guess..

Sorry to hear you're not able to get past that green screen. We have a troubleshooter for that particular error over on this

System Update Troubleshooter, give that a go. If you're still having trouble getting past the green screen after that let us know.

I have this very same problem! Im very sad because I love this game and the framerate loss im getting makes the game unplayable
