Xbox One Kinect unable to find settings for Panasonic TV

Hi,

I have Xbox One Kinect (one week old) which worked perfectly when set up with my TV. However, I've since bought a new Panasonic TX-40CX400B TV and having reset the TV settings (set up on Kinect for my previous TV) back to default, I am now unable to set
it up to control my new TV.

I followed the set up intructions carefully, first using the "guide me" set up option. As my TV could not be found after all attempts to send the mute command, I was then asked to enter my TV model manually. I entered "TX40CX" (as it only asked for the first
letters/numbers) and selected next. On the next page, I was able to find my TV in the drop down menu, however, when I select Next on this page, nothing happens.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with this and more importantly, does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Xbox unable to Send command to new Television

Hi Guys,

I used to have a LG television which worked perfectly to send commands such as "volume down" "mute" etc. Recently i have purchased a new TV brand new for a great price, I have connected it all perfectly but when i went through the TV settings on the Xbox
one it is unable to find my TV, it guides me through using the Wizard but when it sends any of the commands on the setup, none of settings are working, i Have also noticed that when i look for the TV manually using the TV set up option on the xbox, my New
panasonic TV is not listed at all, is there a way that this can be set up, because its a shame that i have lost compatibility of the TV working with the xbox by sending commands.

Hey TimberedFlyer29 - for Panasonic TVs to get a long signal, go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Device Control -> TV -> Enter a remote code and enter one of these guys to get one that works:

T3436

T3825

T3834

 

I am guessing the update has not included the new TV you have. I notice that there are only a few TV's included in the programming in the Kinect software. My TV, a Hannspree is nowhere in the list and there isn't a code (a 4 digit number) for the remote
control that works with the console.

Thanks for your reply and sorry to hear you're also experiencing problems.

It seems strange though as my TV is listed. I just can't select it to proceed - when I've selected it and click next, quick as a flash, nothing happens!

I should also mention I'm enrolled for the Xbox One Preview Program and opted into NXOE (apologies for not mentioning in my initial post). Therefore, this may be a teething problem along with other things which are due to be looked into, fixed and updated.
If it's a case of being patient for a couple of weeks or months I don't mind too much. But if anyone knows a quick fix, that'd be great!
