    Xbox One Kinect no longer works and my games either freeze or no sound after update


    I am having the same problem with Titanfall now. I will be playing in a match and the audio will just completely cut out. When this happens my friends can not hear me in party chat, and I can not hear them. I did what was said above. It worked for a day,
    and now it's doing it again. This is very very frustrating. Espically since this console isn't cheap and I'm only using it to play one game.

    This worked for me:

    Shut down your Xbox One

    Remove the power cable from the back of xbox ( you should hear the hdd shut off)

    Let your Xbox One sit for 2 mins without any power cable connected to it.

    Plug in power cable after two mins is up, wait another 30 seconds and then power up your system from the front touch panel button.

    You will see the xbox green login logo and hear the xbox boot up sound and your kinect should be working just like new Xbox One Kinect no longer works and my games either freeze or no sound after update :)

    This worked for me:

    Shut down your Xbox One

    Ditto on that, everything worked fine before update and now it only turns on then it doesn't work. They need to fix this soon

    I am having the exact same issues! Battlefield 4 crashes after opening video, Titanfall Beta plays but has no sound, Fifa 14 plays but has no sound, Assassins Creed worked fine weirdly enough, Dead rising crashes during career mode. Kinect has completely
    died, no sound/keeps refreshing. I'm glad other people have the same problems, i was worried my xbox was fried. Hopefully this gets sorted ASAP!
