Xbox One Kinect Mic Stopped Working

Hello There,

I use my Mic alot on the Xbox One, But about a week ago the Microphone just randomly Stopped Working and Does`nt Pick up any sound at all, I have my Console set to make everyone elses voice go through my Mic. But The Mic Fails to Send/Receive Data to let
me Talk to and Hear my Friends and other people in the Party/Game.

I am really Annoyed and Frustrated about this, Thanks to the So Called Awesome Next Gen, XBOX ONE Console, I have to use the Annoying Kinect to talk and make everyone mute me because of the Kinect picking up the sound on my TV as well, If i turn my TV Down
I cannot hear my friends, So I then have to talk and hope they understand me or not talk at all. If I could even get a Temporary Fix I will be One Happy Customer.

Standard Mic stopped working

Hey all,

My standard mic that came with the xbox one stopped working. Not sure if it's broken or not but I can hear just can't talk. The Kinect acted as a mic just fine but I'd like to use a headset.

Are there any settings I can change to fix this?

Using kinect for voice and stereo headset at the same time

Hey guys,

Just moved to Peru a few weeks ago, brought along my Xbox One.

Stereo headset i have has stopped working (right headphone stopped working and mic)

Is it possible to use the headset for sound from party chat and the kinect for voice at the same time? I would like to avoid hearing party chat over the tv. I've tried just plugging it in and when it's plugged in the kinect stops picking up my voice.

Can you head to Settings>Devices and make sure your controller updates are current? Also double check to make sure the controller is assigned to your gamertag as well.

Finally, have you tried powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down?

My Controller, Console and Other Xbox One Accessories are Fully up-to-date And i have tried Power-cycling my console, But i haven't yet assigned the controller to my profile

Ahh its fixed, the cable was pushed out just slightly for the signal to drop in and out (not long enough for it to start up)

if you turn the sensor off by going into the kinect settings on the dashboard, it should stop displaying the mic. But if you only turn the kinect mic off, it will still display the mic symbol in the game. As i have one but i just turn the kinect sensor off
and it turns the mic totally off

I don't think they'll stop making it as there's an increased demand for it because of cortana. I think they'll make it until next year when scorpio launches and they'll have a new solution for voice commands, maybe a built in mic on the controller, a kinect
like mic array built right into the system, or a device that's usb that's just the mic portion of the kinect that's much cheaper and works on the original one, the one s, and scorpio.
