    Listen guys/gals.. There is something going on that is extremely fishy here. Last year in May there was a rumor that there was 2% failure rate of Kinects. At this point, people are still having issues so I can see that it has possibly far surpassed this
    number. As far as I know the industry standard failure rate is capped at 5%. It has to well into the teens at this point. Why does it seem like microsoft is constantly dodging this issue? I see several locked threads.. I know there are several people that
    have this issue as well and are repeatedly being directed to paying for a refurbished one with only a 90 day warranty attached. How come my kinect was working fine until the update? How come several users are reporting issues immediately after the new update?
    There is a trend here Microsoft. Please look into this as I believe you will lose my support for good after all the reading I have done on the issue. After going through RRoD 4 times on my 360s, I feel like this is all too familiar. I feel like I am being
    taking advantage of and being gouged. Please do right by your users.. Please take care of the fan base that has taken care of you and stood by you guys from the beginning. Please...

    I regret to say I do not have an Xbox One Kinect. But, this maybe a situation where the Kinect itself needs to be updated, see Update your Kinect sensor at "Your
    Xbox One Kinect Sensor won’t turn on    ". Also, you can find more information at "Troubleshoot issues with the Xbox One Kinect Sensor" and "Kinect
    sensor isn't recognized by your Xbox One S or original Xbox One console    ". Let us know if this helps.

    Does the same thing happen if you test the Kinect on another console?
