Xbox one kinect issues

I am not sure if it is the update or whatever but now when i say xbox do whatever the box in corner is white and seems to just not work mostly with TV channels

I regret to say I do not have an Xbox One Kinect. But, this maybe a situation where the Kinect itself needs to be updated, see Update your Kinect sensor at "Your
Xbox One Kinect Sensor won’t turn on". Also, you can find more information at "Troubleshoot issues with the Xbox One Kinect Sensor" and "Kinect
sensor isn't recognized by your Xbox One S or original Xbox One console". Let us know if this helps.

Heya!

If you are running into issues with the Kinect recognizing you or your voice let's follow the

Sensor troubleshooter.

If you are having issues getting the Kinect to power on, let's run through all of the steps on the

Kinect power guide.

Does the same thing happen if you test the Kinect on another console?

Post back and let us know how that goes!

There should be text there too, something like, Kinect is un-plugged or Turn Kinect on in settings, do you see anything.

Your Xbox One Kinect Sensor won’t turn on

If you’re having trouble with your Xbox One Kinect Sensor, verify that the sensor is turned on. You’ll know it’s on if the Xbox logo on the front of the sensor is lit.

If the Xbox logo on the front of the sensor is not lit, or it’s lit but your console says the sensor is disconnected, follow the troubleshooting steps on this page.

Notes

If your Kinect sensor turns on without any errors, but you’re still having trouble with it, see Troubleshoot issues with the Xbox One Kinect
