Xbox One Kinect Issue: Calibrating Floor Level

Hi all, hopefully someone could help me. I initially placed my kinect below the TV and calibrated it first time. I was not getting the best from kinect from that location so I bought and installed a kinect TV clip. So my kinect was moved on top of the
TV. I used the "...moved my kinect..." to recalibrate it so I can get the right floor level but I just couldn't get to that part. I was able to get it see the floor and that's it, the next option given was for the sound. I tried unplugging and plugging the
kinect. Tried switching it off and on. None helped. Please please someone tell me if there was a step I missed otherwise I am going to return this and have it replaced.

Hi had plenty of problems with my Kinect. With the latest sw update and a new kinect, the only calibration i can do is my sound. So long as I can see the floor with the kinect, I don't need to set the green floor like before. Been using mine like this
for a while and it seems to get it right.

 

My Kinect seems to be cutting off my feet. I never get the option during setup to see the green floor and confirm its correct. I guess it decides where your floor is on its own.

 

Yeah, they have totally given up on the kinect. Yet they don't feel they need to compensate everyone who spent an extra $100 for something they stopped updating and bringing out content for right after we bought it. With Xbox fitness being kicked to the
curb. The kinect is a useless paperweight. I knew I should of went with playstation....... Trust me for shutting down fitness and cutting users off their own purchased content. You will lose customers. You have already blindsided us with a lot of crap. This
is just icing on the cake

 

The new SW update not allow you to see the floor. If you really want to get back there, you have to make a Factory reset console (now you can keep the downloaded contents). After the reset on the FIRST (calibration) time you will see the green floor again.
I'm not sure is that makes it better or not...

I recommend just check your position on the setup > kinect screen - stand as far as you use kinect - and if your feet/arms over head looks fine, should be ok (if not, rotate up/down). The stand on the TV makes kinect recognize much more better as I see.
