    Xbox one kinect help


    I am having trouble calibrating the kinects mic. I would like to use voice controls however its not working.

    The first test for background noise works fine but when the mic tries to calibrate itself with the separate speakers it does not pick it up. The speakers are plenty loud enough and the kinect is firmly plugged in. Not sure what to
    do here, any suggestions?

    i noticed today on a deals site that you can buy a second hand xbox one kinect for £20 which isnt bad

    Hi

    When you are carrying out the calibration are you seeing sound wave patterns on the grid that appears on the calibration screen when the speakers are making noise? If you are seeing sound patterns on screen it is possible to have the
    speakers too loud (or too quiet) when setting up Kinect but you will normally get a warning message on the screen warning of this.

    Also when you connect up your Kinect sensor if you are connecting it to an Xbox One S or X it must be connected to the USB port that is closes to the HDMI port on the back of the console.

    The Xbox one's kinect won't spy on you, and now the new kinect does not have to be plugged in for the Xbox One to function. Hope this helped

    Kinect works independently of itself and doesn't need a cable service provider to operate. Simply plug it into the back of your Xbox One and off you go. Start by saying Xbox and then a command such as "Xbox, Go to Settings" If you're still unsure then please
    refer to the quickstart guide or manual found in your Xbox One console box.
