Xbox one kept shutting off and won’t power on now

I’ve had my xbox one since day one when it came out and recently it has begun shutting off like the power cord was completely disconnected after I power it on for the first time everyday. Now it has shut off like this three times now in a ten minute period
and won’t turn on. It makes the noise when it is supposed to power on but then immediately makes a whistling noise like it’s been disconnected from the power again. Neither the console or power brick are hot and I keep the vents clear of dust.

I don't know if this is relevant but when i tried to power it off right now the power button kept flashing and it didn't shut down after a minute so I forced it off. It also sometimes struggles to launch apps.

Kept shutting down on COD but Gears worked without issue. So I turned off the HDMI-CEC control which enables the Xbox to shut off and control other devices. Hasn't happened since then. Its in settings and the General
TV& A/V power options. Fingers crossed as it seem ok now.

Change the console settings so it doesn’t turn off automatically

Turn on the console.
Press the Xbox button
to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > Power.
Select Turn off or restart.

If you follow these steps but the console continues to get hot and shut down, request a repair.
