Xbox one keeps turing off on its own

Discus and support Xbox one keeps turing off on its own in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I will be playing the xbox one, for no more than 25 minutes and it will just shut off on it own.     Xbox one keeps turing off on its own


    I will be playing the xbox one, for no more than 25 minutes and it will just shut off on it own. The power supply will not turn back on unless I unplug it from the wall and replug in to get the light to come back on... Very frustrated.

    Xbox One Keeps Turing OFF !!!

    Your XBox could be set up to turn off after 3 hours of play.



    Your XBox could be too hot and turns off to prevent damage from overheating.



    This question is better posed to XBox Tech Support who are qualitied to assist you rather than a bunch of well meaning Forum Members all of whom "think" they are qualified to assist you.



    At the top of the page, select "Support" - "XBox ONE" and go from there.

    Xbox One Keeps Turing OFF !!!

    My xbox one keeps turning off when im playing games for a couple of hours no more than three and then it just shuts off sometimes to even get it to turn back on i have to unplug the power supply and plug it back in this is becoming very annoying especially
    when im in the middle of a multiplayer match and it just powers down

    Xbox one keeps turing off on its own

    If your Xbox is shutting down because it is overheating, make sure that there is some adequate "breathing room" around the console and power supply so the internal fans in both devices will be able to circulate air.

    Check if your power supply is connected directly to the wall outlet, and not behind a surge protector.

    Read this troubleshooting article for more details.

    Worst case scenario, you will need to get your console and/or power supply serviced by Microsoft. If that's the case,
    schedule a repair here.

    Try turing off your xbox and then back on. Sometimes its glitchy and needs to be reset. THis happened to me once before and I turned it off and played the next day and was fine.
