Xbox one keeps shutting off

    Xbox one keeps shutting off


    my xbox one immediately turns off after i turn it on stays on for about 5 seconds. i just replaced the power supply so i think its an issue with the console. It is out of the warranty so i opened it up and checked and cleaned it myself and everything looks
    fine. Also when it turns on for the 5 seconds the fan doesnt move i dont know if its supposed to run when you first start it up but any insight into this will gelp i already tried everything on xbox support

    Xbox one keeps shutting off

    What happend to me with PC is that a shortcut of some sort in graphics card made power shutdown, and even blow fuses in fusebox.

    Replacing graphics card and it worked fine again.

    What I mean is - your power supply may never have been faulty - that is is something secondary that that is broken, that made power supply shutdown - too much current drawn or similar.

    With X1 I started to get a noise, like a fan hitting a cable or something, not all the time but from time to time.

    But setting X1 vertical made that stop - maybe it was a cable that just about was close to fan at some point, and gravity just moved that fraction of mm to not create noise.

    So look at cables maybe?

    Any sign of tore or damaged cable to fan?

    But 5s only - it might be something really broken inside - some component burned or similar.

    Any burned look at circuit board?

    In trouble shooting were you doing trouble shooting guide menu screen?

    BIND+EJECT+POWER-thingy.

    we are having the same problem but the amount of active time is not consistent - it can be less than 10 minutes in or more than an hour - and it is in the middle of playing it. Following in case someone has a solution.
