Xbox one keeps shutting off when I try to connect

The issue can be with your console or your network connection.

Do you happen to have a different network connection such as a mobile hotspot that you can use in the meantime with setting up the console?

After trying many things I have found out my Xbox One only keeps shutting down when it is connected to the internet, if I plug in the internet cable or connect using wi-fi it will shut almost immediately, but when it is disconnected from the internet it
will stay on all day....weird.

Could you please explain your problem in more detail. If you can test you connection it would help us if you provided this info.

Hi, Please try clearing your Xbox cache as per
support.xbox.com/.../renew-xbox-live-gold-account and then try connecting with wired connection. If fails, try removing any form of memory (i.e. Hard Drive and/or USB) and repeat clearing cache steps and then connect to live with wired connection. Hope
