Xbox one keeps powering off

Good evening - hoping someone can shed some light on this for me - guessing that it's my power supply starting to crap the bed.

I power up my xbox one console and I get to the menu screen - sometimes as far as into one of the games Im playing and the console will just turn off. This has only just started happening.

I followed some online recommendations of unplugging the power supply from the xbox and the wall - this initially worked but now it is starting to occur again - with more frequency. If I do a "reset" to the power supply in the way I just mentioned, the console
usually starts up but then acts up.

Any suggestions? The console isn't THAT old that I should be having any of the hardware go bad but I understand it can happen.

xbox one s keeps powering off after I sign in

 

console keeps powering off

my xbox one onsole wont power up, when i turn it on it does the start up sound and lights up but then after about 3 seconds it plays the turning off tone and shuts down.Ive gone through all the troubleshooting with the power brick and still nothing....any
help?

 

It could the power cord to turn off the xbox console. Does the power box gets really hot or do you have the right power box and power cord for your xbox console?

 

As stated by another it could very well be the power supply. Also check your power saving setting as mine was acting up and i turned it off. But each user has different issues that all are the same and some solution dont always work.

 

In my experience this is usually a power supply fault, it does not even need to get warm/hot to have this issue, Your best option would be to try another power supply with your console.

If that fails to get it to working then the consoles needs repairing
