    xbox one keeps on disconnecting from network


    Hi,

    My xbox keeps on getting disconnected from xbox live when i try and download anything. if i pause the download after a while it reconnects with the wifi in a while. I thought maybe my external drive was corrupted but i removed that and tried downloading
    in the internal drive but i still had the same issue. I have tried the power cycling router/xbox but it did not solve anything.

    My xbox is wired to the router through ethernet cable. I have decent internet connection as well and i have never had any problem of this nature. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey there Hoobitty! I understand you're having some trouble connecting to your wireless network. Looking at these results, it doesn't even look like it's getting past the router at all. Can you try connecting your console directly to the modem with an ethernet
    cable, just for testing? Let us know if you are able to connect that way.

    Also, can you let us know exactly what you are doing when you are disconnected. Are you starting up a game, in the middle of a game, or does it just seem to happen at random times and intervals? Let us know, thanks!

    Can you hard wire, mine did this to, had to restart router and wait for less people to be on live, rather rubbish though.
