    Xbox One keeps losing IPv6 connection


    Every so often, my Xbox will lost the IPv6 connection and therefore disconnect me from Xbox Live entirely. My IPv4 remains totally intact but that doesn't seem to matter. No other device I own has this issue, only Xbox. I'm getting really tired of restarting
    my console every time this happens and would really appreciate any help.

    Constantly losing IPv6 connection

    I own two Xbox One's that are kept in instant-on mode and they constantly lose their IPv6 connection/addresses, even after only being off for a short time (few hours, to overnight). IPv4 works fine and remains in tact. These are the only devices in my
    home that lose IPv6. Everything else has a rock solid IPv6 connection, so I believe it's an issue specific to the Xbox's.

    Now if take either Xbox offline then right back online under the network settings page, IPv6 immediately comes right back, but I don't want to do this every time I turn on my Xbox. Any ideas why this might be happening? I'm using an Asus GT-AC5300 router.
    Any help is appreciated.

    I'm having the same issues. started about the same time. Right after the latest update.

    Both wireless. I would have to run about 100ft of ethernet cable to do wires.

    Hey sorry about the frustration! Lag can be the worst lol. how ever maybe because he is a lot closer to the modem that hes having a better connection than you! One thing that will most likely help your connection is one of those wall plugins that boosts
    WiFi through the house, maybe put one in your room! Your modem can have a big thing to do with it. I was having issues then i called my provider and demanded a new modem and they gave me a new one for free
