    Xbox One keeps going Black Screen and Games keep crashing.


    I have an Xbox One and about 3 times a week ether a game will crash mid game or my Xbox One will go to a Black screen when I hit the Home button. I have seen a lot of things about the Xbox going black screen, but no one has figured it out yet. I know
    how to fix it, but is there any way to stop it. On the other hand, I have not seen may threads about games crashing mid game. Ether I will be playing Ghost or my girlfriend will be playing The Lego Movie Video game and mid game it just take us to the home
    screen and we have to start the game all over again. I'm also having a problem with my controller disconnecting for about 5 seconds every now and then. Not really a big deal unless your in the heat of the moment in Ghost and that 5 seconds of disconnections
    gets you downed in Extinction or you lose you 15 kill streak in multiplayer. I just wanted to put this out there, but most likely this forum has already been posted a 100 times and someone is going to yell at me to use the search function before posting it
    again, but o well. I hope someone will give me some useful information and not flame me please. Thank you.

    Mine probably just did it within the week that I first got it. Now it doesn't have any problems.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be concerning. You might have to try another HDMI. I suggest trying the steps outlined in our support page

    Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox One is on     .

    When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

    How exactly is it "crashing"?

    Do you get an error message? Or is the screen black when you start the console? Are you able to start a game which then crashes to the Home Screen? Or does the game crash the console so it's restarting?

    Please describe your issue in a bit more details. Only then we can try to help you.

    Ive been having the same problem, my game keeps crashing before it starts, it stays on a black screen for a little while then it crashes. I've tried everything on the Xbox trouble shoot page and on the blizzard support page. I have no clue what the problem
    is. Anyone have any ideas?
