xbox one keeps freezeing on the home screen

got it on Christmas, updates downloaded ok, ac unity only downloaded 30%, I played it until it stopped and went to the home screen and it froze, I did a hard re-start and it was ok for a couple hours, but when I exited call of duty to the home screen it
froze on the home screen, did hard re-start again, seems ok. will it keep freezing up periodically?

There is a circle ring around my BO2 disc and it keeps on freezeing the xbox can anyone tell me how to fix the disc?

 

It can sometimes happen when switching quickly between games. It should not be too often, but as you have discovered a power cycle is the best method for fixing it. Power cycles tend to alleviate the problem for a while.

 

its the degenerates at xbox they can't figure out how to make the system work properly

 

This keeps happening to me also. I have had my Xbox one for maybe about three months now and this problem has just started, although it's almost destroyed the fun times I have with my friends every time I play. If I need to invite someone to a game or party,
my entire Xbox freezes. Then I have to do a hard reset, start up my game (which probably hasn't saved my progress) and then later I may have to invite someone again and then my Xbox freezes all over again. Microsoft needs to fix this fast!
