Xbox One keeps ejecting Discs.

This is getting to be really annoying. I can't play or watch anything with out my consoule ejecting the discs. And calling for support hasn't helped at all what can I do?

Xbox Disc Drive

Does anyone else having issues with the disc drive sticking? Sometimes when we press the eject button to insert/release a game, the disc drive sticks and the Xbox won't open. We have to keep hitting the eject button until finally something catches and the disc bay comes out. We've found that this happens less frequently when we keep a game in the Xbox all the time, but we know this isn't normal. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi BLASTTONER,

Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox. If is just one game or all? If it's one then it could be that game. If it's all then I would first suggest trying to wipe off the front panel of the console. If that doesn't work then try a hard reset. You can do
a hard reset by holding the power button down for 5-10 seconds. After the console turns off, then just turn it back on. If you're still having issues, then then try doing a
factory reset here. And after all that if you're still having issues then your console may need service. You can reset a repair here.

I'm having this problem too, but only with Xbox 360 discs, Xbox One discs are read instantly, but I have to keep ejecting the 360 discs and reinserting them about 20 times before they read, it's getting very annoying now

Have you tried "Manually eject a disc from your Xbox One S or original Xbox One console" ?

Hey there Aleph,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. You should be able to manually eject the disc if it is in the consoles disc bay. Go ahead and follow the steps on the following support article to eject the disc.

If no disc comes out then it is either not being done correctly or there is no disc in the console.
