    Xbox One keeps disconnecting from WiFi then reconnecting


    my xbox one keep disconnecting itself from the wifi, then reconnecting shortly after and I can play halfway through a match on overwatch until it boots me from the game. It signs me out randomly as well. I know it cant be my router or wifi, cause my ps4
    plays perfectly on it and my phone stays connected even when the xbox disconnects.

    it also sometimes says “The following service is experiencing issues: •Xbox Live core services “ but my friend who also has an xbox isnt having any problems.

    Is this an issue that can be fixed?

    Hey, F3arM0d3! I do see that you are part of the Preview Program for sure, however your issue is likely related to that gateway. Arris/Technicolor TG models are notorious for causing these kinds of issues with customers on Xbox One and 360 consoles.

    My suggestion is to call up your ISP and have them put that device in bridge mode (so that the routing capabilities are turned off) and then purchasing a separate router. Best case is to get a standalone modem, however I understand how hard it is to get
    one of those from ISPs at this time.

    It can depend on many causes. How far is the Xbox from the WiFi router? How many connected devices are close? It may be a signal noise due to some nearby device. You can try to change the WiFi channel from the router to avoid interference.
