    Xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet not an internet issue as everything else is fine


    So im sick fed up of this issue when ever i cycle my xbox or it loses power for the next day ill dissconect from the internet every 5 min not exact then after a day itll work perfect I WANT TO MAKE CLEAR THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE WITH MY INTERNET

    Well my router is in my room woth notbing to cause intrrferance i know its a hardware issue considering the fact in the other rooms nothing else dissconexrs or has issues

    Hi Codieb7,

    To be honest, the same thing can also happen to a PlayStation or any other WiFi hardware. I have an Xbox One and a One X and have no WiFi issues. The One X is a second hand console and when I bought it, it had also issues. I took it appart myself and cleaned
    it, after that it worked perfect every single day for more then a half year now.

    The old owner was smoking in the house and stuff so it can be a lot of things why you have this issue. If you have this issue since the beginning then you should go back for warranty, but if it happend over time, the same thing could happen to any other
    console.

    Honestly at this point i might just sell my xbox for a ps4 i was going to get the xbox x series but if issue like this exist and microsoft offer mo support what so ever i might switch to play station

    how far away are you from the router. how many walls and floors between you and the router, is there any smart meters or other wifi enable items between you and the router.

    your internet can be solid but wifi is not and thats a fact.
