xbox one keeps dinging

Ive noticed within the past few days my One keeps doing a ding type sound and even during gameplay it dings and then spits out the game cd. has anyone had this happen and what should i do to fix it.

Well Nyko is not a authorized or licensed product manufacturer for Xbox so compatibility will not be 100%. I would suggest unplugging and not using it. If I remember correctly the Nyko sidefan plugs in using a rear USB port. If the console is powering on
and off I would have to assume its causing a power short somewhere which could cause far worse damage to the console. If you feel compelled to use this, return it for a new one as the fan could be faulty.

 

I have not seen this yet. have you tires to power cycle the console to see if it stops?

With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the green splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute
to boot all the way to the home screen.

no it keeps making a ding sounds

 

Try another AC outlet and make sure the cord is plugged in securely to the power supply and the X1. Sounds like its getting power, then losing power ever so slightly enough to cause the ding.

 

[Mod Removed] The power brick is not the issue! What the issue is is the console keeps spontaneously ejecting his disc without his input!

I am having the same issue except mine does it on a constant basis. The noise is at least but sometimes the disc comes out too! I'm sending my xbox back to aarons on friday to get them to fix it.

I assume it is something bigger as my xbox one has started this as well as my brothers PS4... Microsoft better give us answers I'm not paying out the butt for crap equipment that won't work properly. I just find it odd both PS4 and Xbox one are doing it...
