    Xbox One keeps constantly scrolling down


    My xbox one s keeps scrolling down to the bottom of the home screen and even on games and apps. It doesn’t start scrolling down until I try to press a button on the control even if the control is already on prior to pressing a button

    Xbox one controller scrolling to the right

    My Xbox one controller keeps scrolling to the right. But it only does it with one controller. If I start the system with controller A it works perfectly fine. But once I turn controller B on it goes constantly to the right. How can I fix this?

    My xbox one Dashboard keeps scrolling down!!

    Okay so at first it kept scrolling down on my xbox and I thought mabey it was my controller because it wouldn't stop. I went up to gamestop and WASTED money for a new controller and it's still doing it. I tried unhooking my keyboard and full restarting the
    console with nothing changing it. What is the problem why is it doing this over and over please help fix this.

    Sorry to hear about the scrolling troubles. To check, does this happen if you connect your controller with a USB cable or with a different controller? Curious to see if it's a controller issue.

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Since this happens when the control is turned off, we can assume that it is not a problem with it, so knowing the solutions you have tried to solve this problem, I suggest you try the solutions given below, please.

    Solution 1:

    Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

    Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

    Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

    Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

    Solution 2:

    Try updating your console offline by following the instructions in the article below.

    Hey there Amoeba thanks for keeping in touch.

    To be quite honest this doesn't seem to be a console issue, this does however seem to be coming from the controller instead. Without sounding repetitive we suggest a >Soft
    Factory Reset    <
    (while keeping games and apps, WITH THE CONTROLLER PLUGGED IN)
    IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

    Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup
    lets do manual setup since this will push through any updates to both controller and console. If however this doesn't do the trick then we suggest replace the controller. Give
    it a shot and let us know of any changes!
