XBOX ONE KEEPS BRICKING CONTROLLERS

I have contacted support about this in the past, but they just tell me to go swap controllers assuming I didn't update it properly after trying everything else that is on their "how to" list. This is my final effort to solve the issue before quitting xbox
one altogether because I can do without the stress in my life.

I have bricked 3 controllers in 2 weeks. They don't power on at all. (Not even a flash of light)

-I completely each update successfully

-I have tried plugging in via usb (front and back of console)

-I have tried with several working usb cables

-I have tried using on somebody elses console

-I tried using batteries and a different play&charge kit

-I tried power cycling my xbox with and without each controller plugged in

-I tried holding the button down while plugged in (along with holding it,start and menu together)

-I tried rapidly tapping guide while plugged in

-I tried charging through wall instead of system

I am just tired of coming home from work to a completely dead controller, then going to exchange it for a new one, just to wait for the same problem to happen again. Is my xbox just poisoning the controllers? (I did a manual reset through settings as well)

Any Ideas?

Everything but the console itself has died

sure would be nice if we could use our 360 controllers.

on top of everything else we have to worry about our console bricking our controllers too wow

 

Can I use an Xbox 360 slim power brick on an Xbox One

So I have not upgraded to an Xbox One yet, but I found one on Ebay for 218 dollars. The reason it is so cheap is because it comes without a controller and the power brick. I can buy a controller no problem, but that leaves the power brick. From what I have seen online, the power brick for the Xbox One has similar jacks to the one on my Xbox 360 slim. I checked online to see if the power brick would work with the One, but I found no information on it. Do any of you happen to know if it works?

 

Just spent 30min on support chat again, only to be disconnected randomly. I feel like fixing my xbox issues is like a second job at this point. Doesn't anything just work with this system or is it designed to kill peoples enthusiasm?

Sorry to hear about all the trouble you're running into with the controllers that you bought. Just to verify, all the controllers you have now are not working at all? Or were you able to replace them but you're just concerned that they might stop working
in the near future? Just want to make sure that we're both on the same page before we get to far into this.
