    Xbox one joystick unresponsive- NOT BROKEN- HELP!


    I was in the middle of playing tomb raider and my right joystick was unable to let me turn anymore.

    I went to my home menu and i could not use my right joystick at all.

    I went into settings and clicked "Swap Sticks", and then my right worked, and not my left.

    So, i know its not broken. Just some sensitivity setting or something.

    Does anyone know how to help? I called XBOX and they were not much help.

    I can probably get a new xbox because im still under warranty but i do not want to if my xbox is fine.

    Elite controller drifting and unresponsive

    Hi I purchased an Xbox One Elite Controller for my Son for Christmas. I bought it through Amazon and they have provided Xbox's contact details for technical support. For the last 2 months it hasn't been working correctly. Pressing the joystick up is often
    unresponsive, not pressing the joystick, the cursor sometimes still moves on the screen and when stood still in the game, the character drifts forward. How do I get the item be repaired or replaced? It is still under warranty. Purchased on 18/12/17."

    For some reason my Xbox keeps disconnecting from xbox live an controller keeps losing sync don't know what to do please help it does it randomly how to fix ?

    Xbox one joystick unresponsive- NOT BROKEN- HELP!

    Hey NeonNirvana! Let's start by powering the console down and unplugging for a few minutes to ensure all cache is cleared. When you plug it back in, plug it into a wall outlet as opposed to a power strip or surge protector to avoid any power related issues.
    Now re-sync your controller:
    support.xbox.com/.../connect-a-wireless-controller

    If that doesn't help, please ensure the controller is fully updated:
    support.xbox.com/.../update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter

    Are your sticks working any better after all that?

    Dang! Thanks for trying those steps. Would you happen to own any other controllers? If so, please switch to a different one. Seeing the same issue w/ right stick not working there?

    Xbox one joystick unresponsive- NOT BROKEN- HELP!

    Sorry for the wait here! If it's happening with all of your controllers, it's possible that the console is somehow causing the issue. Please power off & unplug the console for two minutes. Now plug it into a wall outlet, not a power strip or surge protector
    (the Xbox One power supply has a built in surge protector) and power back on. Once powered on, re-sync your controller by pressing the sync button at the top and the bind button on the left side of the console. Are you still having this issue after that?

    Hi,

    Thanks for responding. I am not sure what you mean. I have connected a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS one (flight)joystick to my Xbox with the USB cable that came with the joystick. I am not sure what "pairing and syncing" you are referring to. The guide says "plug cable in and start Xbox" then I should be able to use the joystick as controller but the joystick remains unresponsive?
