Xbox one JC2 Shadows not showing up

So I've got a very odd problem.

I just downloaded Just Cause 2 to my Xbox One (I bought it used) and for some reason, no shadows are rendering anywhere in the game. I tested it on 360 to make sure I wasn't mistaken, and very very noticeable, just imagine the game with no shadows, that's
how it looks, and even without the shadows it still doesn't keep a consistent framerate.

Typically while driving you'd have trees and buildings and poles and car casting shadows on the road. The game is not rendering any of these shadows, it makes it look terrible, it reminded me of playing GTA San Andreas on an ancient laptop with the shadows
turned off. Trees kind of look like their just floating on the ground, ect, not having shadows kills any immersion, it just looks stupid.

Is this a problem with my console? I've also had some issues playing Bad Company 2, the game almost seemed slower and with a lower framerate than the 360 version at times. In BF4, I was in a jet in a Gulmond Railway map (or whatever it's called) and while
flying over the map the game slowed to like 10fps for second or two and it looked pretty awful. BF4 Campaign though seems to be working flawlessly, and it's the only actual Xbox One game i've played on it so far.

I did a full factory reset when I got it, it's a 500GB original XB1 version.

Black Friday discounts not showing up in cart.

Would you be able to post some screenshots from your copy of the game so we can see what you are referring to?

When you factory reset the console did you keep all games and apps?

Have you tried uninstalling the game and then reinstalling?

Is your console plugged into a power strip or surge protector by chance?

I took some screenshots and a video but I'm new to XB1 and not sure how I link them to show them here?

I did a factory reset on the console, wiped everything, it made me do an update before I could disassociate the linked profiles beforehand.

I did try reinstalling/installing, didn't help unfortunately, I also tried on both internal HDD and external USB 3 drive.

It's plugged into a regular wall-outlet with nothing else plugged into it.

I added a few screenshots and a video capture where you can see that now shadows are being rendered, usually you'd have ground shadows and vehicle shadows on the road, but now they're gone entirely and as you can see it looks pretty messed up.

Also, I added a video of Far Cry 3 that I thought also looked pretty weird.. if you can look at that also I'd appreciate it.

I'm worried it's a problem with my console. Thanks.
