xbox one issues with support

I recently sent in a brand new XBOX one console with everything that came in the box with it because it would not work,I called customer service and was told my device was not working and I just got back the console only no plugs no game nothing else and
a letter that says nothing was wrong with it. But I can't try it out like the letter says because your company kept all of the cords and the remote and even the game that came in the box. I waited on the phone for half an hour for a man who came on and got
smart with me and hung up.

Issues with Xbox One and customer support.

I swear Xbox has got to have the worst service ever. I bought a 360 never had a problem, now I swear with this it's like a slap in the face.

I first had my console working like normal. Then the following day tried to play my game and won't get past the loading screen. Now it just gives me some stupid error code on start up of e305 00000001 80073cfe. I contacted customer support and got no
where. After unplugging and plugging back in (because I'm not smart enough to do that alone) he passes me over to someone calling me.

I pick up the phone and they want to replace my console. So here I am holiday weekend, and no game to play, no xbox one, however they feel the need to give me a month of free xbox live.

Needless to say this is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. Just atrocious. A billion dollar company and all that money they invested into the damn machines, yet here I sit with nothing but a membership to which I already have. And
they had the nerve to say replacing this stupid thing is their way of "going above and beyond".

No one who had a working machine received a free game. Those who had faulty disc drives received a game.

 

Your only option is to contact support again I'm sure you'll get someone who will try to help you , a little too late but you should have sent the box only, no cables and certainly no game I'm afraid.

 

Do they even put games in boxes? I thought bundles came with codes??

 

Why didn't you just exchange it at the store you bought it from if it was brand new?

 

Ahh..... the lost art of reading instructions. Ship ONLY the console back, no cables or accessories..... don't make assumptions, we all know what happens when we do.

^Not sure if they do or not, now. But we do know what happens when someone forgets the game disc in the console and sends it back...
