    Xbox One- Issues Streaming Amazon Prime Vide


    Only recently my Xbox One is showing a blacked out screen when I try streaming movies and videos with Amazon Prime App. It used to work fine and all of the other streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc) I have on the xbox work fine. I've checked
    all of my settings but nothing seems to be the obvious culprit. Help and suggestions would be really appreciated, please and thank you.

    Have you tried
    power cycling     the console and uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

    My Xbox One has stopped streaming the video the video portion of Amazon Prime Video. I have worked thru all the the trouble shooting on the xbox and amazon lists.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to answer that.

    All you need to do is open the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox One and search for "Amazon Prime Video" to pull up the
    app developed for the Xbox One console so that you can log into to your Amazon Prime account and link your Amazon account with your Microsoft account. Once signed in, you should be able to use the app to stream videos available through your Amazon Prime account.

    0x87dd001a caused by Amazon Prime

    We've had an issue where the Xbox One loses connection when Amazon Prime is streaming anything. Did a hard reset on the console, rebooted my router and modem, updated router firmware, isolated my console on my network, and even requested a new IP from my
    provider, just in case.

    Netflix, Crackle, Pandora, SyFy, CW and Plex all work just fine. Only Amazon Prime caused this error after a minute or two of viewing.
