Xbox One Issues - Launching games or apps start then return to Xbox Home or black screen...

OK, so, I was just able to get my Xbox to update by hitting the try again button over again. However that still did not solve the black screen issue. The Xbox wont start up any game period. It just stays on the home screen when i try to open a game from
there. Going to "my games and apps" still is not working and just sends me to a black screen until i hit the Xbox button and go back home. The only difference post update on xbox one is that i now can no longer launch any kind of app from the store. I used
to be able to launch netflix and watch movies but it does not react at all to me pressing launch on anything. I used to be able to go to my movies from store but that no longer opens either.

Thanks for keeping us updated with your replies. If you've already attempted a factory reset of the console (be it leaving the games & apps, or the full reset) but you're still having the same issue, then this may indicate that your console needs to be serviced
or repaired. As you didn't state which Xbox One model you are having the issue with (original, S, or X), I would like you to note that if it is an original Xbox One, then you may simply need to replace the console as they are no longer serviced by Microsoft,
sadly.

You do have some options for setting up a repair (even if out of warranty) if your console is an S or X model, you may:

Set up a repair via your Microsoft account yourself online

Set up a repair with Xbox Support by either requesting a call back or a chat
