Xbox One issue.

So last christmas my family got an Xbox One, of course it was during the day that everyone was having problems with internet amoungst other things causing us problems with initial setup. But we finally got it setup, now recently when we play games no matter
what game, randomly during the game it'll disconnect from Xbox live completely I have tried wireless and wired, no matter what it does this. After is disconnects from live if I'm in a certain game Ill dashboard and close the game and reopen just to check (because
sometimes it still shows friends) the game will not open so after holding the off button and turning it back on it reconnects. If I just press and hold the controllers xbox button and press off from there and come back it will still say Im not connected. I've
been having the problem for a few weeks now.

Unfortunately, the new Gen consoles rely heavily on the internet to function properly. I am not sure you could really consider their basic functionality a major flaw.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you are talking about, Are you saying that the console keeps returning to the Home screen?

If so, possibly it's the controller that is faulty...

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider):

Post back with these details, and we'll ensure there isn't any known issues with your devices. If there aren't, we'll jump into troubleshooting your console!

this is the only console connected

wireless (Ive tried wired and even connected itll kick me offline)

Our Isp currently is Level 3 Communications, Inc. I believe, after moving this week our connection is actually better than before and it continues to happen. Along with random crashes in game that completely close the game that is currently being played

I was wondering if any interuptions during setup or system updates could cause this due to our family trying to set everything up last xmas during all the attacks on the xb1 service.

 

I do not encounter any error codes or NAT errors
